Product Family: Gem Cuts
Star Cut Coffee Table
The Coffee Table: Actually it looks similar to Cushion Cut but there is a star in the middle rather than an octagon, so I named it Star Cut, the legs are organic this time, I wanted to give the feeling of a ring and tried to form a synergy with geometry and organic shapes..

How to Produce: Top part can be solid cut from granite, or molded from fiberglass, legs needs to be also molded carefully, requires artisan blacksmithing..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Metal, Granite, Fiberglass.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Star Cut Coffee Table is 610 mm x 420 mm x 642 mm, each box contains a single Star Cut Coffee Table and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 660 mm x 470 mm x 692 mm, roughly 180 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 340 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

Permanent Link : http://www.omcdesign.com/?design=387&type=Coffee+Table [View]
Product Family: Gem Cuts
Step Cut Coffee Table
The Coffee Table: My tests with pure geometric forms continue, I started a series of gemstone inspired works, I have the Dorlink Kinderslay's Gemstone Handbook right next to me and first I will be creating arch-types such as this step cut coffee table, and later I will move to more complicated designs, right now I am trying to digest all the information and styling of diamonds, emaralds and other precious stones. Did you know that the biggest surface on top of the gem is called the "table". .

How to Produce: Quite easy to produce from any material, the top part is solid cut (could also be Plexiglas) or molded (for instance from fiber glass), legs need a bit of metal craftsmanship..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Metal, Fiberglass, Plastic.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Step Cut Coffee Table is 414 mm x 416 mm x 616 mm, each box contains a single Step Cut Coffee Table and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 464 mm x 466 mm x 666 mm, roughly 260 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 520 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

Product Family: Elmas
Mazarin Arm Chair
The Arm Chair: Mazarin is a type of diamond cut, I wanted to make a family for the "Solid Cut" so I come up with armchair version of the couch. Although it appears very sharp, this is also a very comfortable design..

How to Produce: Again, for this I imagined to use Fiberglass as it is easy to work with, it should to be molded over a metal base (even wood is an option as skeleton structure or some other material), chromed finishing. Black leather cushion...

Hindistan Wardrobe
The Wardrobe: I have been working with pop-art paintings on indian furniture forms before, and in MACEF fair I met with Mr. Babulal Marotia who paints Miniature paintings of India, I bought some of his works and he agreed to give me the rights to modify the works, therefore I come up with this wardrobe, which is a pop-artization of the traditional Indian miniatures..

Recreate Image Decade Chair #381 designed in 2009
Permanent Link : http://www.omcdesign.com/?design=381&type=Chair [View]
Decade Chair
The Chair: I was watching a Japanese anime when I come up with this chair, in cartoons and animations the objects drawn are usually archetypes, for instance a strawberry jar package is basically a bottle with strawberry picture on it. The fact is that the effect is stronger than it seems, because the archetypes drawn in the animations catch the essence of the object. This was one of the "modern" chairs that the anime artist draw, it is the chair yet it is not any chair. I come up with a variation on the design that makes it more durable and "real" add my view of what the chair is, etc..

How to Produce: The production is simple, top part metal press formed, bottom part is cut panels that are press formed and then bended and then welded, imagine how you would create this chair out of paper, now apply this for metal plane..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Metal.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Decade Chair is 420 mm x 725 mm x 490 mm, each box contains a single Decade Chair and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 470 mm x 775 mm x 540 mm, roughly 165 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 330 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

Crop Circles Chair
The Chair: Well I was working with a presentation and I though that the presentation would look quite interesting on a piece of furniture, especially while we were talking about British Pop-art on modern Indian Furniture, the shape of the chair comes from the Indian chairs whereas the cropcircles and the pop-art element comes from the Great Kingdom! Please note that this one is a work in process..

Recreate Image Tersayak Table #377 designed in 2009

Tersayak Table
The Table: Why always the legs of a table must go down!, well in this case, at least for a brief moment they are going up! And even better you can hang your bag, clothes etc to the legs..

How to Produce: Well, one of my most difficult to produce design actually, you will need an engineer of quantum physics because this thing is literally not obeying the laws of gravity! No kidding, sorry, it is actually so easy, a plane of wood is solid cut. The legs are square metal tubes that are cut and welded, the important thing is the stability here and legs must be connected from the bottom of the table..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Wood, Metal.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Tersayak Table is 1693 mm x 1000 mm x 699 mm, each box contains a single Tersayak Table and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 1743 mm x 1050 mm x 749 mm, roughly 18 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 42 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

Bombe Coffee Table
The Coffee Table: I was inspired by the old handmade slings for the legs and rings for the top part, a simple looking yet unique proposition for your environment..

Elac Coffee Table
The Coffee Table: Inspired by rings, this is an illusive coffee table, the base - which is metal - is hidden under the round carpet or if in dark color looks like the shadow. The gold color was chosen because initially I designed this to fit in a jewelery store. .

There would be a carpet or base might be colored, it might be noted to actually have the base in a different color then the environment so that people do not get trapped and fall.
